What are the chances that a simple pick pocketing scheme turns into a major crime? Beverly and Caesar are small time criminals who meet by happenstance when they come across the same vic. They decide to work the vic together then split the money but things change when they stumble upon something that is worth more than the suitcase full of money they discovered. He offers to help her but will their union bring back old feelings and change her plans or will he risk everything to make sure she can rescue another man? Soon after, they find themselves caught up in a situation that neither of them would expect could cost them their life. Ceasar’s greed and Bev’s devotion set them on a path of running, gunning, deception and death.This is another good read from JUNE! You know how you have high expectations from a book or movie and then you’re disappointed because when you finally read it or see the movie, it’s just doesn’t live up to your expectations. Well, this is not that book or the author. June's writing always lives up to my expectations and exceeds them. I never know what I’m going to get(which I like), but it always turn out great. My two favorite genres to read are mystery/thrillers and urban fiction. With June, I feel I get the best of both worlds. Whether a short story or a regular length novel, I’m always pleased with his work. I wonder if we'll see more from Bev and Stan....

Never one to spoil a good story, but get ready for a short fast pace page turner that will leave you wanting more.....And the end, I didn't see it coming...... Hands Down June...
LET ME START OFF BY SAYING I READ & OWN ALL OF JUNE'S BOOKS, ALSO I AM A HUGE FAN...I LOVE TO SEE AUTHORS DIVERSIFY THERE WRITING STYLES (AS JUNE HAS DONE IN THIS BOOK & OTHERS AS WELL ).....THIS STORY MAKES FOR A GREAT SHORT READ & THAT IS THE ONLY REASON I DID NOT GIVE IT MORE STARS (I AM NOT A FAN OF NOVELLAS)...WITH THAT BEING SAID GOOD WORK AS ALWAYS JUNE AND WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT.
What a creative, diverse and interesting story to read! June Miller weaved this tale like a Nascar driver on the West Side Highway in route to Brooklyn while his wife is in labor. Every book that I read by June, makes me more of a fan each and every time. This story involves two crooks who get together under different circumstances and form an alliance. Who wins? Who loses? Will it really be a Red Sunday? You have to buy this book so you can see what happens.
Wow, June Miller never ceases to amaze me with his writing game! That Beverly was greener than I thought she was. Old boy Ceasar was a wolf in sheep's clothing . I love me some Stan . I'm glad Bev realized how much Stan really loved her. If you haven't read a book by June Miller, you have no idea on what you're missing out on!
I have read several of June Miller's books and I must say I have never been disappointed. This is one of those books, that once you start reading, you can't put it down until you have finished the whole book. It is a definite page turner, and I was sad to see it end. I couldn't believe Ceasar did what he did. But he got what he deserved in the end. I'm also glad that Beverly got her happy ending. You have to read the book to find out what I am talking about. Great job June
Beverly and Caesar met in an unconventional way, but you never know when cupid would shoot you with the arrow in the a$?. Beverly and Caesar are running from some Englishmen because they stole some plates to make counterfeit money. Let me tell you, they go through some serious damage when they don't have all the equipment or a buyer.
Unfortunately, thieves don't have any loyalty. Will there love last? Will they make it out alive? Will they walk away with the all mighty dollar?

This was a great read. I love books that are filled with money, mayhem, disloyalty, sex, murder, and love. All the ingredients to make a great book. Soon as you thought you knew what was going to happen, the author went left. This book kept you guessing, and holding your breath at the same damn time. Stan was my dude, he never wavered, he stayed down and stayed true. And poor Bev, she wore her heart on her sleeve and it almost cost her everything. Reminds me of someone I know. But in the end love prevail. And because of her heart she won the prize. I really enjoyed this book. To the Author you have yet to disappoint me, and for that I am a true fan of your work. Keep them coming, I'm buying. Great job June, can't wait to see what's next. On to the next one, Frankie Blonco. Will keep you posted.
